The 2024/25 season is officially over and has made its mark in the record books with the highest grossing season in Broadway history.

“Good Night, and Good Luck” and “Othello” ended their runs last week with “Good Night” breaking the record once again by topping the $4 million mark; plus the free broadcast of the play on CNN had over seven million viewers.

Last week concluded with the 78th annual Tony Awards but while theatre fans flocked to see the Hollywood A-listers George Clooney, Denzel Washington, and Jake Gyllenhaal; only Clooney earned a Tony nomination but did not earn a win.

Eighteen of the 40 shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with the top five coming in with at least $2 Million.

In the 90 percent club, half of the shows made it with the top 10 having at least 100 percent audience capacity.
