Over 50 years later, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists, John Fogerty isn’t letting a little thing age stop; he is still making music and preparing to release a new album from his years with Creedence Clearwater Revival.  “Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years” is set for an August 22 release.

The 20 track album features re-recorded versions of Fogerty’s “most beloved songs” including from “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising” to “Fortunate Son” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”.

The 80 year old Fogerty spoke on the upcoming album saying, “for most of my life I did not own the songs I had written.  Getting them back changes everything. ‘Legacy’ is my way of celebrating that-of playing these songs on my terms, with the people I love.”
