It was the longest race of the year and it took nearly all of it for Ross Chastain to work his way through the field after starting the race from the back of the field in a backup car.  Winning his first crown jewel race, Chastain did it all, the “Polish victory lap”, burnouts, and smashing the melon!  Earning 50 points for the night, Chastain jumped two spots in the standings.

William Byron dominated most of the race sweeping the first three stages but fell short in the end to come in second.  Despite the loss of the race, Byron earned a whopping 65 points during the race and retakes the points lead with 499; he also has the most stage points with 137.
