As awards season continues for New York Theatre, the winners of the 2025 Drama League Awards were revealed on May 16. Among those awards is the Distinguished Performance Award – an award that can be awarded to an actor only once in their career.
The 2025 Distinguish Performance Award went to Pussycat Doll and “Sunset Boulevard” star Nicole Scherzinger for her role as Norma Desmond in the musical!
Scherzinger has already won an Olivier Award for the role on the West End in London.
“Sunset Boulevard” has also been nominated for seven Tony Awards including a Leading Actress nomination for Scherzinger.
