It was another big week for Broadway with the six shows topping $2 million and the top two of them topping $3 million.  And nearly all of the 36 shows running had at leas 90 percent audience capacity.

Thanks to Hollywood stars George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Kieran Culkin business is booming on Broadway.

It was also a big week for “Cabaret” with theatre fans flocked to the show to see the final performances of Adam Lambert and Auli’I Cravalho before Orville Peck and Eva Noblezada take over the roles.

With Broadway spring in full swing, the box office draw for the final week of March was over $43 million with around 30 percent of the revenue coming from plays!
