As an avid reader, it would be a big asset if I could recall everything I see and read.
Over the past two years, I have read over 50 books each year! That’s a lot of stuff! But some of them have books from a series and remembering things that happened in an early series might come in handy. 🙂
One of my favourite authors is James Rollins whose thrillers are filled with history, science, and even medical explanations. Being able to recall quickly all that I have seen and read would be a great feat.
Of course, having an identic or photographic memory would also come in very handy in learning to play new music. Once it was in my head, I wouldn’t have to keep looking it up to remember how to play something. I don’t get to practice as much as I would like and easily forget something if I don’t get the chance to play it all the time and help to get the notes and proper fretting in my head and fingers.
But I already have a bunch of stuff up there in my head and sometimes it gets a little mixed up. If I remembered everything, I’m not sure where it would all go.
Maybe a need a second super power…the ability to use ALL of my brain, not just the typical 10 percent.
