In just three days the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will meet on the turf  of the Superdome to compete in Super Bowl LIX; but first the National Football League will honour the best in the sport and announce the newest class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the NFL Honours.

Award winning entertainer Snoop Dogg is hosting the event.  Attired in a pair of gold shoes and a white track suit, Snoop Dogg took the stage saying that he was excited. 

Odell Beckham Jr and Shaboozey presented the first award of the night for Offensive Rookie of the Year to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. 

Jon Hamm and Terrell Owens presented the award for Defensive Player of the Year Award to Denver Bronco Patrick Suratin III.

The award for Offensive Player of the Year went to Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley.  Barkley gave his acceptance speech via video.

Diagnosed with cancer last year, NFL Honours paid tribute to wide receiver Randy Moss.  During Justin Jefferson’s speech, the teleprompter malfunctioned. 

From his home Randy Moss presented the award for Comeback Player of the Year to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Cincinnati Bengals’ Trey Hendrickson won the Deacon Jones Award for the most sacks and tackles for loss in the season.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Jared and Brittney Peyton presented the 32 nominees for the Walter Peyton Man of the Year Award which will be presented later in the evening.  The players took the stage to a standing ovation.

The Jim Brown Award for most yards running went to Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley.

The Flag Football Players of the Year Award went to Joise Clayton and Daniel Berry.

Allowed to celebrate big plays and touchdowns once again the Celebration of the Year included a little dance off on stage.

The Defensive Player of the Year Award went to Los Angeles Rams’ Jared Verse.

The Art Rooney Award for Sportsmanship goes to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

The NFL Moment of the Year was Jayden Daniels “Hail Mary” throw for a touchdown with two seconds remaining in the game for the win.

Josh Allen and Ja’amarr Chase are the winners of the Air and Ground Award winners.

San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle is the Salute to Service winner for his support and service to the military.

The NFL paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy on Bourbon Street New Year’s Eve… and an In Memoriam salute to those in the world of football who have passed on over the past year that included a traditional New Orleans musical salute.

The Changemaker Award went to a member of each of the 32 NFL teams.

Coaches Bill Belichick and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders presented the award for Coach of the Year to Minnesota Vikings Coach Keven O’Connell.  Belichick drafted O’Connell.  He called it an organizational award.

Former New Orleans Saints quarterback and Walter Peyton Man of the Year and Steve Gleason presented the award for the Walter Peyton Man of the Year Award to Jacksonville Jaguars Arik Armstead for his Arik Armstead Academic Project.  While his organization works to aid children with their academic endeavors, he also reads books to the children.

This Sunday at the Super Bowl, the endzones will no longer be labeled with “End Racism”; instead they will be painted with “Choose Love”.
