NASCAR kicks off the 2025 season on Saturday – February 1 – with the first of a two day event – the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Green Stadium.
After practice, qualifying, and four heat races 20 of the 23 starting spots will be filled. The remainder of the field will be set after the Last Chance Qualifier on Sunday before the main Clash race.
Forty drivers have signed up to participate in the races ths weekend for a non-points exhibition race.
Stewart-Haas Racing shut down operations at the end of the last season; but some of the drivers have qualified for The Clash and will race under their SHR numbers; while others will be driving under their new owners.
