Buffalo Music Hall of Fame rockers the Goo Goo Dolls are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their album “A Boy Name Goo” with an expanded release on March 14. The double platinum album was the band’s fifth release but the album that launched them into stardom.
The new expanded edition will be available in two formats – a double LP with 24 songs – the original album and a live performance at Las Vegas on March 10, 1996 and a double CD with the original recording, the live performance, four B-sides, and six semi-acoustic songs for the radio show Modern Rock Live. There is also a limited edition sea-blue vinyl version available.
Next month the Goo’s will be heading out on the road for a big tour. Dashboard Confessional will be joining the rockers for some of the tour.
