Well…..
A year ago, I had no plans to move. The thought wasn’t anywhere close to entering my mind. I shuddered at the idea.
But…over the summer everything changed and I ended up making a mad dash look for a new place to live.
It all happened very quickly and a mad dash ensued trying to get everything in order and moved.
Last month it all came together. Fortunately, I only had to go about a mile away. I shudder to think what it would have been like if I had had to move long distance.
I (and my stuff – mostly) are in our new home. There are boxes everywhere…but winter is coming on and there will be plenty of time to unpack and sort it all out. Every time I empty a box, I feel a real sense of accomplishment.
Things aren’t what I had pictured or planned, but I am content with the outcome. I feel safer and have a landlord who takes care of the place.
