With the 2025 NASCAR season still nearly two months away, teams are still working to fill their crews and drivers.
Niece Motorsports has chosen ARCA Menards Series driver Christian Rose to be one of the drivers for the number 44 truck in the Craftsman Truck Series for the 2025 season.
In recent years, race fans have seen more drivers come into the series by unconventional ways. Rose is another such driver. The West Virginia native grew up on a farm but dreamed of becoming a professional driver. A pitcher in college, Rose earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management at the University of Maryland Easter Shore.
His driving career began in 2022 with the Super Late Models before moving up to the ARCA Menards Series.
Rose finished the 2023 season ranked in third place for his rookie season.
Speaking on moving up to the Truck Series, Rose said, “for me, it’s a huge opportunity to make the jump from the ARCA Series. I got my feet wet a little bit in the Truck Series a few years ago, but I believe in everything that we have going on in this building and am very excited to get to Daytona. The speed that we’ve seen from this team is a big reason why we signed our deal, and I’m just excited to make that transition. I think if we do the right things and show up and put the work in, we can have a lot of great things to look forward to next year.”
Niece Motorsports CEO Cody Efaw spoke on Christian Rose saying, “we’re all excited to welcome Christian on with our team next year. I think our program has the possibility to have a banner year with the driver and partner lineup that we have. Christian’s drove well in his time running in ARCA, and he will have all the tools he needs to learn from our group of guys. It’s going to be a great year.”
Rose will join full time drivers Matt Mills and Kaden Honeycutt at for the 10th season of Niece Motorsports.
