Well, I suppose that depends on who you ask…
I do a lot of reading; there are those who think it is a waste of time.
Not one to just sit, I keep some crocheting close by – usually a hat in progress – to keep busy while I wait. I imagine there are people who think that is also a waste of time…and money. But the hats I make in my spare time are donated to those in need.
I recently moved and it was obvious that the people who helped felt very strongly that all of my art supplies, music, and writing were a waste and should just be thrown away. That is never going to happen as long as I am alive to guard it.
But, the presents I give are things that I have made from those same supplies. My soap is anticipated every year. Last year I made blankets and am now working on more that have been requested after receiving one last year.
Personally, there isn’t anything that I feel I should be doing less of…unless it involves cleaning and laundry :).
