Currently in previews, the revival of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo + Juliet” has dedicated themselves to diversity and inclusion by offering designated seats for open caption on a screen above the stage. The seats will be available for every performance.
When purchasing tickets online, an open caption will popup over the designated seats. Tickets may also be purchased at the Circle in the Square Theatre box office by requesting them.
The seats are open to anyone who is deaf, hard of hearing, or has an audio processing disorder.
Official opening night for the “Romeo + Juliet” revival is October 24 and is scheduled to run into February of next year.
Award winning actors Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler star in the production.
