There was a time when radio stations refused to play Morgan Wallen’s music over alleged racial slurs.  His fans have continued to support Wallen and buy his music.

When the Country Music Association released the list of nominees for their annual awards. Wallen topped the list with seven nominations including Entertainer of the Year.

Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Post Malone, Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, Jelly Roll, Combs, Kacey Musgraves, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson also received multiple nominations.

Looking to expand her musical notoriety, Beyonce released “Cowboy Carter” – her version of a Country music album.  While her fans were pleased and impressed…the CMA committee was not and failed to offer a single nomination to Beyonce.

The CMA Awards will be presented on November 20 in a live television event.
