The British Indie rock group Band of Skulls formed in 2004; no Russell Marsden is the sole original member of the band.
In celebration, Marsden is releasing a limited edition boxed set that features items from his personal archive, including exclusive interviews, previously unseen photos, and rare materials; with the first three albums – “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey”, “Sweet Sour”, and “Himalayan” -, B-sides, rarities, and a coffee table book.
“Cold Fame” is currently available for pre-order via the band’s website – bandofskulls.com – and Marsden has promised more new music in the coming year.
Along with opening for bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Muse, and The Dead Weather; Band of Skulls has had their music appear in video games, movies, and television; as well as, over 100 million streams of their music.
