When I started my website – wordsmusicandnews.com – six year ago, I had little expectations about making any real “mark” on the world. I write about music, entertainment, and sports; nothing in the way of “hard news”.
But, I suppose if there is anything that I would really like to see is for people to know that not all news – hard and soft – is “fake” or filled with misinformation. There are people in this world who care about what they write and making sure that the information they impart is indeed true and accurate.
In my 30 plus years as a journalist, I have strived to make sure what I write is the truth and not filled with rumours, misleading information, or innuendoes. I guard my integrity very strongly
If anything, I would like for more people to see that there are journalists who actually care about reporting the truth.
