The Craftsman Truck Series kicks off a triple header weekend from Indianapolis Raceway Park and the TSport 200 for some short track racing.

Thirty-five teams brought trucks to IRP this weekend.  Ross Chastain, Conor Daly, Johnny Sauter and Marco Andretti are among the list of drivers.

The drivers have been divided into two groups for practice but will make a single round of qualifying.  Each group will get 15 minutes of practice.

When the green flag drops Matt Crafton will make start number 14 at IRP to put him at the top of the list for the most starts along with Dennis Setzer.

Doing double duty this weekend Ross Chastain and Ty Dillon hopped a helicopter ride to make it to IRP in order to get some practice time before qualifying.  The drivers get two laps to make their best time.

Ty Majeski topped the board after practice.

Matt Mills gets loose and bumps the wall causing some damage to the truck.

Last week Ford finally won a race in the Xfinity Series for this season; but they have yet to win a race in the Truck Series.

The first driver on the track to make a qualifying run is Johnny Sauter who posted a time of 23.559 seconds.

Conor Daly and Matt Mills will not make a qualifying run but with just 35 trucks in the race, all drivers will start.

Conor Daly said he, “loves driving stuff!”

Ty Majeski is the first driver to break the 23 second mark with a time of 22.924 seconds.

With a time of 22.863 seconds, Rajah Caruth puts his number 71 truck on the pole with Grant Enfinger starting alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two are 60 laps each with stage three lasting 80 laps for a total of 200 laps around the .686 mile track.  The drivers can run 110 to 120 laps on a single load of fuel.

Ben Rhodes has to start the race from the back of the field after making a tire change after qualifying – an unapproved adjustment.

With his second career pole, Rajah Caruth brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the outside lane.  Drivers quickly spread out three wide across the track.  Grant Enfinger gets out in front for the lead.

Lap two, Grant Enfinger leads the race with Ty Majeski in second; Rahah Caruth, Christian Eckes, and tyler Ankrum round out the top five.

Lap five, Grant Enfinger leads the race with Ty Majeski on his bumper.  Christian Eckes passes Rajah Caruth for third.

Tyler Ankrum and Rajah Caruth battle for fourth.

Lap nine, Grant Enfinger has a near half second lead on Ty Majeski; Christian Eckes, Tyler Ankrum, and Rajah Caruth round out the top five.

Lap 20, Grant Enfinger has led every laps so far with Ty Majeski in second; Tyler Ankrum, Christian Eckes, and Rajah Caruth round out the top five.

Leader Grant Enfinger has encountered slower traffic and has begun lapping trucks.

Lap 26, Grant Enfinger has a half second lead on Ty Majeski with Tyler Ankrum over three seconds back; Christian Eckes and Rajah Caruth round out the top five.

Dean Thompson and Daniel Dye battle for tenth.

There are 28 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 30, ty Majeski has closed the gap on leader Grant Enfinger and is now just a quarter of a second back; Tyler Ankrum, Christian Eckes, and Rajah Caruth round out the top five.

Lap 32, Ty Majeski has caught leader Grant Enfinger and begins to battle for the lead with 26 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 39, Grant Enfinger continues to lead the race and has a half second lead on Ty Majeski; Tyler Ankrum, Christian Eckes, and Rajah Caruth round out the top five.

The caution flag comes out on lap 42 for Ty Dillon and Mason Massey 

Some of the drivers come down pit road for service including leader Gran Enfinger.  Timmy Hill is the new leader.

Matt Crafton and Stewart Friesen were caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Grant Enfinger brings the field down for the green flag restart with Ty Majeski alongside.  Enfinger takes the lead with just eleven laps remaining in stage one.

The top five are Grant Enfinger, Ty Majeski, Christian Eckes, Corey Heim, and Tyler Ankrum.

Ty Majeski was charged with a restart violation and has to serve a pass through penalty.

Ty Majeski has clinched a spot in the playoffs on points.  After having to serve a pass through penalty, Majeski stayed on the lead lap and is now in the top 15.

Daniel Dye made an unscheduled trip down pit road for a loose wheel and has gone a lap down.

With eleven laps remaining in stage two, Christian Eckes continues to increase his lead on Ross Chastain; Tyler Ankrum, Ty Majeski, and Layne Riggs round out the top five with Corey Hiem in sixth.

After falling out of the top 10, Grant Enfinger is back and passes Corey Heim for fourth.  Nick Sanchez passes Heim for fifth.

Lap 140, there are 28 trucks on the lead lap with Mason Massey the only truck out of the race.

Lap 155, Grant Enfinger passes Tyler Ankrum for third with 25 trucks on the lead lap.

With 43 laps remaining in the race, Ty Majeski has pulled out to a near two second lead on Christian Eckes; Grant Enfinger, Tyler Ankrum, and Layne Riggs round out the top five.

Just 37 laps remain in the race, Ty Majeski has pulled out to a lead of over two seconds on Christian Eckes; Grant Enfinger, Tyler Ankrum, and Layne Riggs round out the top five.  Pole sitter Rajah Caruth is in sixth place.

Just 25 laps remain in the race with Ty Majeski nearly three seconds out in front of Christian Eckes; Grant Enfinger, Tyler Ankrum, and Layne Riggs round out the top five with just 19 trucks on the lead lap.

Twenty to go!  Ty Majeski has a two and a half second lead on Christian Eckes.

Jack Wood gets into the wall but the track stays green.

Ten to go!  Ty Majeski holds a two and a half second lead on Christian Eckes.  Majeski is just the third lead in the race.

With eight to go, leader ty Majeski puts14th place Corey Heim a lap down.

Ty Majeski takes the white flag.

After earning a spot in the playoffs on points earlier in the race, Ty Majeski takes the checkered flag for his first win of the season.  It is also Ford’s first win of the season in the Truck Series.

Grant Enfinger and Tyler Ankrum have secured spots in the playoffs on points.
