It has long been said that there are only two things certain in life…death and taxes. Death is a certainty for us all sooner or later and we all have to pay taxes in one form or another.
Well, there are few more things in this world that can be listed as absolutely certain…
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
Several hundred years ago, scientists established that the earth certainly does orbit the sun.
And it is a pretty good chance that the earth will continue to spin long after humans have disappeared from the planet earth.
It is a near guaranteed certainty that whichever political party lost the election will be quick to blame the winners for anything that does go they way the losers like.
Just like the fans in the losing side of a sporting championship will swear their side was cheated or the win was stolen from them.
A little closer to home, I’m pretty certain that my slum lord owner will continue not to make repairs as he should and will not hesitate to raise my rent whenever he gets the whim.
