What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
I have been a night owl from the word go. According to my mother, and she would know, I was a night owl even as an infant.
That being said, it also stands to reason that I agree with Snoopy…”I’m allergic to mornings” :).
And if the post midnight bed time wasn’t enough, I frequently have insomnia issues. There have been times – several lately – that the sun is up before I can get to sleep.
One good thing about all that awake time, I get LOTS of reading done! I read for at least a bit every night before I attempt to go to sleep. I have a Kindle which makes for some good reading time
The frustrating part is when I start to drop the Kindle – an indication that I need to stop reading and go to sleep – but when I close my eyes…NOTHING! I toss and turn for a while. OK, time for some more reading!
The results of my late night reading binges is1040 days in a row reading and 30 books read so far just this year. And these aren’t chap books or flimsy “trashy” novels; I’m talking books that are an average of 400 to 600 pages with a few 250 pagers thrown in. 🙂
Just looking back on the “Reading Insights” on the Kindle app, it says that since the beginning of 2022, I have read a total of 139 books! And I still have quite a bit in the library that I haven’t read yet and some I would like to read again.
Oh, bed time is usually somewhere around “O dark hundred”!
