Last week was the final week of performances for the Tony Award winning musical revival of “Merrily We Roll Along” topped the box office; bringing in over two and a half million dollars, even beating out “The Lion King”.  “Wicked” also topped the $2 million mark.  The average ticket price for the final week was over $350!

In its original run, the show only lasted 16 performances.

Nearly half of the 27 shows currently running joined the Million Dollar Club this week.

In her second run in “Chicago”, Jinx Monsoon as Matron “Mama” Morton is a major box office draw breaking single performance draws.

Last week all but two of the 27 productions had at least 90 percent capacity with seven of them reaching at least 100 percent capacity; only “Chicago” and The Who’s “Tommy” failed to reach the 90 percent mark.
