It is a few months yet before Broadway presents the annual Tony Awards; but on the other side of the pond, the British Theatrical Organization has announced the nominees for the 2024 edition of the English equivalent Olivier Awards.

The awards gala will be held on April 14 at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Lord Andrew Lloyd Weber tops the list of nominees with the revival of his musical “Sunset Boulevard” with eleven including all four acting awards.  Fans of “The Masked Singer” will notice the absence of Nicole Scherzinger this season; she is on the West End in “Sunset Boulevard” and is among the nominees.

American theatre fans will also have a chance to see the production when it transfers to Broadway later this year.
