Over recent years we have seen a number of long standing rock bands hang up the touring gear; but there are a few artists who have chosen to keep singing and performing.

Once such artist is Sir Rod Stewart who at 79 is as busy as ever with a Las Vegas residency, a tour, and a new album.

Collaborating with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Sir Rod has released “Swing Fever” – a collection of “timeless tunes” from the Big Bank era.

Performing a variety of music over a long musical career, Sir Rod earned his Grammy Award for one of his Great American Songbook albums.

In preparing for the album, Sir Rod told Holland that he did not want any slow songs, only “upbeat happy song, which we need in these grim times that we live in.”

The tracklisting for “Swing Fever”:
“Lullaby of Broadway”
“Oh Marie”
“Sentimental Journey”
“Pennies From Heaven”
“Night Train”
“Love Is The Sweetest Thing”
“Them There Eyes”
“Good Rockin’ Tonight”
