The musical “Gutenberg! The Musical” closed on Sunday and “Harmony” is set to close this Sunday. Both shows had their biggest week since opening last week.
With a capacity of over 100 percent and a box office draw of nearly a million and a half dollars, “Gutenberg” ranked in the top five last week; coming in fifth behind “Hamilton”, ”The Lion King”, “Wicked”, and Merrily We Roll Along”.
While still the “slow” season, Broadway saw in increase in the box office last week with eleven of the 25 productions currently running making the million dollar club and 19 of them reaching 90 percent audience capacity.
