Normally when a person has a birthday, they are the one to receive the gifts; but Country music icon and Hall of Famer Dolly Parton has a gift for her fans as she celebrates her birthday.
Yesterday (Jan 19), Parton turned 78 and in celebration she has released a deluxe edition of her “Rockstar” album. The album is available on all streaming platforms.
The album which became her highest performing album in sales during its debut, hit number one on six of Billboard’s music charts.
The ”Rockstar Deluxe” album has an addition nine songs – four which have never been released.
Parton spoke on the album saying, “hey fans and friends, It’s my Birthday so I’m going to give you a present! I’m releasing four never released songs for my birthday, to go with the Rockstar album, and a few others that you may have heard before that were not on the album. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope you all have a happy birthday for me!”
