Country music star and “American Idol” alum Scotty McCreery has a rousing new single out titled “Can’t Pass the Bar” …and he isn’t talking about the test for lawyers.  The ode to the working man is available on all streaming platforms.

McCreery spoke on his new single saying, “I grew up loving ’90s country music, especially the barn burning songs. I wanted one of my own, so I got together with some of my buddies and we wrote it. Can’t wait to perform this song live on the Cab in a Solo Tour.”

While still in his teens, McCreery shocked the Idol judges with his deep voice and went on to win the singing competition.  Since appearing on “American Idol”; McCreery has graduated from college, gotten married, become a Dad, and most recently become a member of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry. 

Next week, McCreery will embark on a new tour around the United States.  Anne Wilson, Greylan James, and Noah Hicks will also be joining McCreery on the tour on some of the dates.
