There are artists known for their performance; while others are known for their songwriting or musical arrangements. But there is not a long list of artists who are known for all of them. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is one such artist.
He is releasing a compilation box set of his solo works from 2004 to 2024.
Along with his numerous solo releases, Rodriguez-Lopez has worked with The Mars Volta, At-The Drive In, Bosnian Rainbows, De Facto, and Antemasque.
Nor has he limited his musical talents to a single genre but has music in Jazz, Prog, Latin, Alternative, Electronica, and Classical Music styles.
Omar’s record label Clouds Hill is releasing a massive boxed set of 57 albums on vinyl. Previously the music has only been available as a digital release. The set also include two albums that have never been released.
Set for a December 4 release, the set is limited to just 500 copies. The collection – “Amor de Frances” – is available for pre-order beginning October 30 at cloudshillshop.com. the set is divided into four boxes that when placed side by side will feature the silhouette of Rodriguez-Lopez.
The set will also include nine art prints.
Next year Cloud Hill will also be making each album for sale individually.
