The hard rock band Metallica are getting very colourful with their newest releases. Over the next several months, the rockers will be releasing their first five albums on vinyl but not the traditional black vinyl…but coloured 180 grain vinyl albums.
Previously available only in the United States, the albums are now being offered outside of the U.S. beginning with “Kill ‘Em All”; “Ride the Lightning”, “Master of Puppets”, “..And Justice for All”, and “The Black Album will follow.
In a limited edition Fire Engine Red release, “Kill ‘Em All” is set for a November 3 release. The audio was remastered in 2016.
In a limited edition Electric Blue release, “Ride the Lightning” is next with a December 1 release date and features the 2016 remastered audio.
Scheduled for a Battery Brick limited edition vinyl, “Master of Puppets” is set for release on January 5 with the 2017 remastered audio.
“…And Justice for All” is set for a February 2 release in a Dyers Green limited edition vinyl with the 2018 remastered audio.
Finally, the “Metallica” “Black Album” will be released on March 1 in a Blacker Marbled limited edition vinyl featuring the 2021 remastered audio.
