In 2021 Octave Records presented a limited edition release of Jazz trumpet player Gabriel Mervine’s album “Say Something”.  The popular release sold out quickly.

Now, Octave Records is set to re-release the album of Jazz standards and originals; and this time around the album will include some bonus tracks – “Young at Heart” and “Lawns”.

The album was recorded live and has been remixed using the latest in state of the art technology to give fans the feeling of being there to feel the spontaneity of a live show.

Mervine spoke on making the album saying, “we recorded a lot of material in the ‘Say Something’ sessions just because we were having such a great time. I think we released about 50 percent of what we originally recorded. So, the re-release was a great opportunity to add a couple of tracks that we really liked.”

The album is currently available on a plethora of physical and digital formats.

A member of the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, Mervine has performing since his early teens. In the time he has worked with numerous artists including Natalie Cole, Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard, the Temptations, the Who, and Fred Wesley.
