This past weekend at Pocono Raceway fans saw a triple header weekend filled with excitement ranging from an overtime finish to rousing Booooo’s for a race winner.  

It was also a record-setting weekend where Kyle Busch earned career win number 100 for Kyle Busch Motorsports, Denny Hamlin earned his 50th career race win, and Toyota earned win number 600.  

With his top five finish, Martin Truex Junior maintained the lead in the point standings with 711.  He also leads in the playoff points with 2,033.  But when it comes to the playoffs themselves William Byron is in the lead with his four race wins.

In the Craftsman Truck Series, Kyle Busch took the lead with less than two laps to go to earn career Truck Series win number 64 and get Kyle Busch Motorsports win number 100.  This was Busch’s last truck race of the season.  When asked about getting the 100th win before the race Busch noted that he was tired of talking about it.

Running a shorter schedule, the Truck Series has just one more race remaining in the regular season when they join the Cup Series in Richmond this weekend.  With five wins this season, Corey Heim leads in the point and playoff standings.
