Continuing the family business, Tommy Prine has just released his new single “Cash Carter Hill” in anticipation of the release of his debut album “This Far South” on June 23.

Conscious of his father John’s legacy Tommy says, “this song highlights my journey to create my own life and path as an artist as the son of a legendary sing-songwriter.  It’s an intense job and I feel this song encapsulates the thoughts and feelings going through my head as I navigate my life.”

“This Far South” is Prine’s journey out of the darkness after he felt his life spiraling down.

With influences from his Celtic roots, Outkast, The Strokes, and Bon Iver on “This Far South”; Prine shows that his musical journey covers more than what he learned from his father John who died during the pandemic in April 2020.

Next week Tommy Prine will be heading out on the road for a tour to hep promote his upcoming album.
