In NASCAR, racing is a family affair with sons following fathers and brothers following brothers.  In its 75 year history, there has been only a handful of siblings who have combined to win multiple races in the Cup Series; and in all that time, there has been only one set of brothers who have each topped the 30 win mark…

Geoffrey and Brett Bodine have combined to win a total of 19 races with one win from Brett and 18 from Geoffrey.

Phil and Benny Parsons have combined to win a total of 22 races with Phil winning just once and Benny winning 21 races.

Ward and Jeff Burton have a total of 26 race wins with Ward winning five races and Jeff winning 21 races.  And keeping with the tradition, Ward’s son Jeb currently races in the Xfinity Series and Jeff’s son Harrison drives for the Wood Brothers in the Cup Series.

Terry and Bobby Labonte have each earned a Cup Series title – two for Terry and one for Bobby – and have split the total wins of 43 down the middle with Bobby winning 21 and Terry winning 22.

The three Flock Brothers have combined to win a total of 62 races with Fonty winning 19, Tim has 39 wins, and Bob has four.

Darrell and Michael Waltrip have each earned themselves a Daytona 500 win.  The brothers have also combined to win a total of 88 races with Michael winning four and Darrell winning 84 to earn a spot in the top 10 of all time Cup Series winners.

Following Dad Davey into NASCAR, Donnie and Bobby Allison have combined to win a total of 94 Cup Series races with Donnie winning 10 and Bobby joining Darrell Waltrip in the top 10 with 84 Cup Series wins.

And topping the list of siblings earning race wins are Kurt and Kyle Busch who have combined to win a total of 96 Cup Series races.  Older brother Kurt saw his full time racing career coming to an end last season after a crash that caused a concussion.

Like the Labonte’s, the Busch brothers have also earned Series championships with Kurt earning one and Kyle with two…so far.

Kurt and Kyle are the only brother to win at least 30 races each with Kurt winning 34 and Kyle has 62…and counting.  Driving part time in the Craftsman Truck Series and the Xfinity Series; along with a full time ride in the Cup Series, Kyle Busch has combined to win 224 races!

Over the years there have been other groups of brothers to battle it out on the track – the Green brothers, Wallace brothers, and currently the Dillon brothers – Austin and Ty.

While so far the list only includes brothers, as the future of NASCAR continues, it is sure to include sisters.
