This week NASCAR travels to Dover to take on Miles the Monster.  But before the drivers could even crank the engines in the Xfinity Series, Mother Nature moved in and the rains began to fall.  As a result, practice and qualifying have been cancelled.

The field for the start of the race is set by NASCAR’s metric that includes the previous race results, points, and lap speeds; putting Parker Kligerman on the pole with Cole Custer starting alongside on the front row.

Originally 40 teams had entered drivers into the race, but with the forecast of bad weather, Craftsman Truck Series driver Carson Hocevar’s debut into the Xfinity Series has been postponed to a later date.

With the field set by the metric, Dawson Cram failed to make the race.
