Decades before Scott Borchetta and Pitbull entered the world of auto racing, there was Marty Robbins who owned a NASCAR Cup car and raced on occasion.

Today’s NASCAR features several sports and entertainment stars who also own racing teams including Big Machine Records head Scott Borchetta who also races upon occasion.

This summer Big Machine will present the Music City Gran Prix where music stars and IndyCar join forces for a weekend of Sound and Speed.

On April 19 Big Machine released the lineup of musical talent for the August 4-6 event in Nashville.

The festivities kick off on Friday night with Vince Neil, Chris Janson, and Gavin Degraw.  The night will also honour members of the military and first responders.

Rap artist Flo Rida will headline the concert lineup on Saturday night.

iHeart Radio will be featuring some of the newest stars of Country music including Megan Moroney, Dillon Carmichael, Frank Ray, Tim Dugger, Mae Estes, Neon Union, Ryan Griffin, and Connor McCutcheon.

Before the drivers crank the engines for a race through the streets of Nashville on Sunday afternoon, Jay Marcus of Rascal Flatts will lead a worship service that includes Jason Crabb, Consumed by Fire, Cade Thompson, and Iveth Luna.

President and COO of Big Machine Music City Grand Prix Jason Rittenberry spoke on the weekend’s events saying, “music has been a big part of the experience since we launched in 2021 and this year is no different.  We are bringing fans the best and brightest artists on the scene today.

Along with the NTT IndyCar Series Grand Prix, the weekend’s races will include the Indy NXT, GT America, GR Cup, the Big Machine Spiked Cooler Trans Am TA 2 Series, and the Stadium Super Truck races.

Three day passes with access to the music and racing begins at $139 per person for general admission.
Grandstand seating begins at $219 per person for a three day pass.
Club packages are also available running between $849 to $2,850 per person plus fees.
