Chris Williams and Kid Reverie are set to release their new album “Something from Nothing” on March 3.

The new single from the upcoming album “Warning Bell” is the only song on the album that features Kid Reverie (also known as Steve Varney). The song that opens “Damned if I do, damned if I don’t.  I’m still gonna care even if you won’t” is something personal for both artists.  Speaking on the song, Williams said, “sometimes folks just give up.  No matter how hard you try to navigate all of their landmines, inevitably there is an explosion.”

Kid Reverie noted, “it felt good to make a rock song again.”

Williams notes that the beginnings of the opening track “Morning” had its beginnings while he was standing outside the hospital where his mother was a patient.  He said that she died during Covid which means he never really got the chance to say good-bye. Separation and loss are a theme that permeates the album.
