Less than a month after announcing his retirement at the end of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, Kevin Harvick has lined up a new job beginning in 2024.

A long time veteran of the guest drivers who serve as commentators for the Xfinty Series, Kevin Harvick has announced that he will be joining the FOX broadcast booth once he retires from full time driving at the end of the year.

Harvick made the announcement prior to the Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on February 5.

The father of two is now 47 years old and has said that it is time to hang up the helmet and fire suit and leave the driving to the younger set.

Getting a bit of an early start on his new career, Harvick is set to be a part of the broadcast crew in four Xfinity Series races and three Craftsman Truck Series races this season.

Currently, Harvick drives the number four car for Stewart-Haas Racing.

Last season Harvick won two races to bring his total to 60 career wins to tie with Kyle Busch.  He has made the playoffs for the past 13 seasons in a row.
