The number of notes for writing a song is finite – there are only 12 different notes; but what the musician does with those notes is infinite. And while the four piece band The X-statix does not write their own music, they have mastered the art of taking those 12 notes and making the songs their own. Lead singer Sharon notes that the band plays all kinds of music…as long as she can make it rock and roll.
With their bluesy rock sound, the X-Statix put a whole new slant on the songs whether it be the music of The Beatles or metalheads Metallica.

On January 28th, The X-statix drove off the winter dun-drums with nearly three hours of music at the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara Falls, New York. With Sharon on vocals, Rick on guitar, Joel on bass, and Bob on drums the night’s entertainment included “Come Together”, “Enter Sandman”, “Try”, “The Well”, “Baby Once More Time”, “Bad Case of Loving You”, “Numb”, “Voodoo Woman”, “Love Hurts”, and “Creep”.
“The Well” is a blues rock song by Marcus King that is driven by King’s guitar playing; but in the hands of The X-statix, it was driven by Bob the Drummer who put on an impressive performance with a drum solo that lasted for several minutes.

It is a rare occasion when a band does not hear a shout from the audience for a particular song and frequently cover bands hear the should of “Freebird”, but for The X-statix it was “Purple Rain”.
The X-Statix provided the perfect music for a night out of dinner and music…and chasing away the winter cold.

Hello Sherrill, Hope you are well. Just want to let you know that The X-STATIX will be returning to the Hard Rock Cafe this Friday, Oct. 20th, from 7-9. Best, Bob
