Country Folk singer Jody Miller died last October in her Oklahoma home at the age of 80; but in a posthumous release, Heart of Texas Records has released “Wayfaring Stranger – The Final Recordings” – a six song collection of Miller’s music including her Grammy Award winning hit “Queen of the House”. During her career Miller performed folk, pop, patriotic, gospel, and country music; and created 30 Billboard singles hits.
The original concept behind “Wayfair Stranger” is that Miller wanted to create one last album filled with some of her favourite songs over the years but never had an opportunity to perform.
