It was a triple header weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway where the Camping World Truck Series set the final four heading into the championship race at Phoenix Raceway in two weeks.  The Xfinity and Cup Series ran the second race in the round of eight where the winners dominated the race.

In the Cup Series race, Kyle Larson swept all three stages where he led over half of the laps on the way to a win.  With 34 of the 36 race season completed, Chase Elliott holds on to the stage points lead with 274 points.

In the Playoff Standings, Joey Logano leads with 4,016 points and has secured his spot in the final four after his win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  With Kyle Larson’s win at Homestead-Miami, it ensures that at least two of the final four drivers at Phoenix will get in on points.  And the final race before the championship race is the short track of Martinsville where anything can and usually does happen.

In the Xfinity Series, Noah Gragson dominated the race notching stage win number 16 and win number eight for the season.  Gragson joins his JR Motorsports teammate Josh Berry in the final four and a race for the championship.  JRM drivers Justin Allgaier and Sam Mayer are also a part of the round of eight playoff drivers but are currently below the cut line and are in danger of being eliminated form the playoffs.  Josh Berry has fewer points than several of the playoff drivers but is in second place due to his win at Las Vegas.

With their final race of the round of eight, the Camping World Truck Series set the final four for the championship race in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon with Ty Majeski winning for the second time this season – both playoff races.  Joining Majeski are Zane Sith, Chandler Smith, and Ben Rhodes.  After the race John Hunter Nemechek, Stewart Friesen, Grant Enfinger, and Christian Eckes were eliminated from the playoffs.
