This weekend, Broadway takes to the streets of Times Square for a three day Curtain Up Festival that is free and open to the public.  Sponsored by Playbill, The Broadway League, the Time Square Alliance, and Prudential Financial the event will feature a block party filled with performances and sing-alongs.

Sept 30:
The festivities begin at 2pm with the Official Kick-Off on the main stage hosted by John-Andrew Morrison and James Jackson Jr from “A Strange Loop”

3pm – “Chicago” Sing-Along on the Dueling Pianos stage

3:45pm – “Wicked” Sing-Along on the Dueling Pianos stage

4:30pm – “Little Shop of Horrors” Sing-Along on the Dueling Pianos stage

5pm – The Broadway Block Party begins at the Main stage

6:30pm – Broadway Sings: The Golden Age of Broadway on the Dueling Pianos stage

Oct 1:
10:30am – drummers from Alvin Ailey’s “Revelations” teach some African drumming on the Main stage

11:15am – “Kinky Boots” Sing-Along on the Dueling Pianos stage

12:30pm – Belt it Out Broadway on the Dueling Pianos stage where Michael McAssey and Rachel Kaufman will duel it out on the piano.

1pm – Game Show Live on the Main Stage where the stars of Broadway show off their knowledge of the Great White Way

3pm – Jason Gotay on the Main Stage with a performance of original music from “Where You’ll Find Me”

4pm – Belt it Out on the Dueling Pianos stage with Michael McAssey and Drew Wutke.

5pm – Once Night Only on the Main stage – a benefit concert

6:30pm – Rockers on Broadway: Live in Times Square on the Dueling Pianos stage

Oct 2
10:30am – Curtain Up! Live on the Main stage hosted by Amber Ruffin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson

1pm – Belt it Out on the Duel Pianos stage with performances and sing-alongs to close out the festival.
