Currently the “Phantom of the Opera” is the longest running show on Broadway with over 13 thousand performances and counting.  In that time millions of fans have seen the musical from all around the world.

On September 2, Universal Records is releasing an eight disc global edition of the music from “Phantom of the Opera”.  Available on all streaming platforms around the globe, the collection features the music in seven different languages. The complete cast recordings can be hEard in Korean, Polish, Hungarian, Mexican Spanish, German, Swedish, and Japanese.

As a bonus, the package includes a 15 song compilation of highlights from the musical including “West Side Story’s” Killian Donnelly and Lucy St Louis performing the title track at the Platinum Party in the Palace as a part of the celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 75 years on the throne.  

“Phantom of the Opera” opened in 1986 and in the 30 plus years since has played before 145 million people around the world and has been presented in 17 different languages.  And next year, Phantom will open in China in Mandarin for the first time.
