After several weeks of lost wheels, the Cup Series. Rees have gotten things figured out, but the lone penalty issued this week was for a lug nut violation in the Camping World Truck Series.

During the post race inspection process after the race at Richmond Raceway, the Kyle Busch Motorsports winning number 18 truck driven by Chandler Smith was found to have a single lug nut improperly secured.  As a result of the infraction, crew chief Danny Stockman was fined $2,500.

NASCAR has re-instated two crew members who had been suspended for violating the substance abuse policy; Tony Waters who had previously been listed as the hauler driver for the Kyle Busch Motorsports number four truck driven by John Hunter Nemechek and Sean Kerlin who had previously been listed as a mechanic at JR Motorsports for the number nine car driven by Noah Gragson.
