Like many musicians Dan Tyminski turned to the one thing he knows best to help him through a time of grief…music.
In 2020 the Bluegrass music world lost one of its greatest treasures when guitarist Tony Rice passed away. Like many of his fellow musicians Dan Tyminski was devastated.
In tribute, he penned a song for Rice – “One More Time Before You Go”.
The song is now the anchor for a new album by the 14 time Grammy Award winning Tyminski that is a tribute to Rice. The album features a total of five songs – “One More Time Before You Go” and four John Rice classics.
Tyminski has solicited the help of some Bluegrass luminaries to join him on the album including Molly Tuttle, Josh Williams, Jerry Douglas, Billy Strings, Sam Bush, and Todd Phillips.
