The ballots have been cast and the votes have all been counted; On July 10, the MLB Network revealed the players for the 2022 Major League Baseball All Star Game.
The 92nd annual All Star Game is being held on July 19at the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles, California.
Along with the veteran players who are making their double digit appearances in the annual mid-summer classic are 30 first time All Stars. Among the veterans, Miguel Cabrera leads the way with his 12th All Star selection; Albert Pujols follows with eleven.
The game will also include 28 foreign players representing the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Aruba, the Bahamas, Canada, Japan, and Mexico.
The New York Yankees lead the way in the American League with six players going to the All Star Game. Each of the 30 MLB teams must have at least one player representing the team.
