The Camping World Truck Series kicks off a triple header weekend at Nashville Superspeedway Rackley Roofing 200. Only three races remain for the regular season before the playoff begin.
With a time of 29.753 seconds around the 1.33 mile track, Ryan Preece put the number 17 truck on the pole with Zane Smith starting alongside.
Carson Hocevar continues to show that a busted ankle isn’t going to slow him down will start his truck in third place.
Forty-two teams brought trucks to Nashville for 36 starting spots; meaning six drivers will not make the race. Tate Fogleman driving for a new team, Bret Holmes, Clay Greenfield, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Justin Carroll, and Trey Hutchins all failed to qualify for the race.

The Triple Truck Challenge also returns; having already won the first Trip race, Corey Heim could go home with an additional $100,000 if he wins the race.
Max Gutierez with his 14 truck was late for the post qualifying inspection and has had his qualifying time disallowed. He will start the race from the back of the field; as well as, the crew making some unapproved adjustments to the truck.
Derek Kraus has been docked 10 driver points and has had his crew chief ejected from the race after the balast was improperly mounted on the truck.
Stages one is 45 laps with stage two at 50 laps, and stage three lasts for 55 laps for a total of 150 laps around the 1.33 mile concrete track.
Ryan Preece brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the outside lane but it is points leader Zane Smith that edges out for the lead.
Tanner Gray brings his number 15 truck down pit road on race start to serve a one lap penalty for fueling the truck prior to the green flag.

Despite a penalty for improper ballast, Derek Kraus did not lose his starting spot and is in the top 10.

Jack Wood brings out the first caution flag of the race on lap nine when he hits the wall after some contact with Matt Crafton.

Just four laps remain in stage one, Zane Smith had a second and ahalf lead on Ryan Preece with Corey Heim, Stewart Friesen, and Chandler Smith rounding out the top five.
After leading every lap, Zane Smith wins stage one for his sixth stage win of the season. With this stage win, Smith has earned 21 playoff points so far this season.

Lap 78, Carson Hocevar has entered the top 20 after having to restart the race from the back of the field.
With 15 laps remaining in stage two, Ryan Preece has a lead of over half a second on Zane Smith. Preece is the defending champion of this race after winning last year.

Lap 126, drivers get four wide and end up in a crash that brings out the caution flag. Grant Enfinger has a heavily damaged truck in the grass. Corey Heim and Matt DiBenedetto were also involved. Heim is shaken up after a very hard hit. Heim gets out of the truck and heads for the safety vehicle under his own power. Chandler Smith and Ben Rhodes make contact trying to avoid the wreck. The fourth driver in the four wide battle, Ty Majeski avoided any damage.
Lap 135, Ryan Preece brings the field down for the green flag restart from the inside lane with Christian Eckes on the outside. Drivers spread out three wide. Hailie Deegan and Max Gutierrez make contact and sends Deegan into the wall; bringing out the caution flag.

Ryan Preece wins the race for the eleventh different winner of the season. Preece is the fifth consecutive non Truck Series regular to win a race. This is Ryan Preece’s second race win in a row at Nashville. Preece wins a guitar and $50,000 Triple Truck Challenge money. Saying that he has a second guitar, Preece noted that he might have to start a band.
