This past weekend at Texas Motor Speedway all three of the NASCAR racing series raced with the Cup Series running the annual All Star Race.
On Tuesday, NASCAR issued a penalty report that included only two minor penalties – one in the Xfinity and one in the Camping World Truck Series.
The Cup Series has moved to a single lug nut hub but the other two series are still using the five lug wheel hubs.
The Kaulig Racing number 16 car driven by points leader AJ Allmendinger had a single lug nut improperly secured during the post race inspection after the SRS Distribution 250. The number 16 crew chief Bruce Schlicker has been fined $5,000 for the infraction.
The Xfinity Series has run 12 races this season, AJ Allmendinger has finished in the top 10 in all of those races.
In the Camping World Truck Series, the Kyle Busch Motorsports number 18 truck driven by Chandler Smith also had a single lug nut improperly secured after the SpeedyCash.com 220 and crew chief Danny Stockman Jr has been fined $2,500 as a result.
