The Camping World Truck Series kicks off a triple header weekend from Texas Motor Speedway with the SpeedyCash.com 220.

Todd Bodine returns to the Truck Series for his third of six races on his way to 800 starts.  Bodine was the first truck on the track with a time of 30,61 seconds.

After making some unapproved adjustments to the number 25 truck, Matt DiBenedetto will not make a qualifying run and will have to start from the back of the field.  Armani Williams’ team also made some unapproved adjustments to the truck and will not be allowed to make a qualifying run.

After crashing his truck during practice, Chris Hacker does not make a qualifying run.

Thirty-eight teams brought trucks to the track this weekend for 36 starting spots.

Ryan Preece is the first driver to break the 30 second mark with a qualifying time of 29.902 seconds.

Colby Howard crashed during his qualifying run, causing significant damage to the truck; the team will have to move to a backup truck.

With a qualifying time of 29.612 seconds, John Hunter Nemechek put his number four truck on the pole.  Corey Heim makes it an all Kyle Busch Motorsports front row when he starts alongside team mate Nemechek on the front row.  This is the third pole in a row for Nemechek.

Garrett Smithley and Armani Williams failed to qualify for the race.

After making a pole sitting qualifying run, John Hunter Nemechek will find himself starting the race from the back of the field after the crew made some unapproved adjustments to the truck – a crew member was seen standing on the splitter.

Grant Enfinger, Chris Hacker, Bret Holmes, Colby Howard, Jordan Anderson, and Austin Wayne Self  will also have to start the race from the back of the field.  Howard is in a backup truck after a crash during practice; the other drivers, the crews made unapproved adjustments to the trucks.

Stages one and two of the race are 35 laps each with stage three lasting 77 laps for a total of 147 laps around the mile and a half track.

There are reports of some weather in the area.  The race will become official once it has reached halfway or at the end of stage two.

Lap five, John Hunter Nemechek has entered the top 20 after being one of seven drivers to start the race from the back of the field.

Lap seven, Stewart Friesen has a narrow lead on Ryan Preece; Christian Eckes, Corey Heim, and Derek Kraus round out the top five.

Chris Hacker spins out on lap nine and brings out the first caution flag of the race.

Lap 12, under caution, John Hunter Nemechek is in 14th place.

Stewart Friesen brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 15 from the inside lane.  Stewart Friesen edges out for the lead. 

Ryan Preece comes up from the outside lane to battle for the lead but Friesen holds him off.

Lap 17, Stewart Friesen leads the race with Ryan Preece just two tenths of a second back; Kerek Kraus, Christian Eckes, and Chandler Smith round out the top five.  John Hunter Nemechek is just outside the top 10 in eleventh place.

Drivers are getting three wide across the track.

Lap 20, Ryan Preece passes Stewart Friesen for the lead; Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, and Chandler Smith round out the top five.  John Hunter Nemechek has entered the top 10.

Lap 23, Ryan Preece has a third of a second lead on Stewart Friesen; Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, and Chandler Smith round out the top five.  John Hunter Nemechek is in eighth place.

Only eight laps remain in stage one with Ryan Preece leading the way; Stewart Friesen, Ty Majeski, Christian Eckes, and Chandler Smith rounding out the top five.

Zane Smith and Chandler Smith battle back and forth for fifth place; John Hunter Nemechek is in seventh.

Five laps to go in stage one, Stewart Friesen has caught up to leader Ryan  Preece and is looking to take the lead…and the stage win.

Chris Hacker is the only truck on the track one lap down.

With three laps to go in stage one, Zane Smith takes third place.

Drivers come down pit road for service with Stewart Friesen winning the race off of pit road.

Blaine Perkins and Todd Bodine were caught speeding on pit road.  Chandler Smith had to make a second trip down pit road to tighten lug nuts.  Zane Smith was charged with equipment interference.  Both Smith drivers will restart the race from the back of the field.

Lap 44 Stewart Friesen takes the lead with Ryan Preece in second; John Hunter Nemechek, Christian Eckes, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five.

Lap 47, Zane Smith has moved up to 21st place with Chandler Smith right in front of him in 20th

Lap 48, Stewart Friesen holds on to a quarter of a second lead on Ryan Preece, John Hunter Nemechek, Christian Eckes, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five.

Lap 57, Stewart Friesen has a near half second lead on Ryan Preece; John Hunter Nemechek, Christian Eckes, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five.  There are 32 trucks on the lead lap with all 36 drivers still in the race.

Lap 60, Stewart Friesen has increased his lead on Ryan Preece to nearly a second.

Lap 61, taking advantage of slower traffic, Ryan Preece passes Stewart Friesen for the lead.

With the exception of the first lap, Ryan Preece and Stewart Friesen have led all of the laps.

In the first two stages the drivers did not have to make a pit stop for fuel; in stage three the drivers will have to make a pit stop for fuel.

Ty Majeskit gets loose and makes contact with Derek Kraus; bringing out the caution flag on lap 77.

With 61 laps remaining in the race, the drivers cannot make it to the end of the race if they stop for fuel.  The fuel window is 50 to 55 laps.

Lap 105, Kris Wright brings out the fifth caution flag of the race when he has a tire go down.  Drivers can make it to the end of the race if they come down pit road for fuel.

Drivers come down pit road for service.  Chandler Smith came off the jack but believes they got all of the lug nuts tight.

After staying out on the track, Chase Purdy brings the field down for the green flag restart from the outside lane with Carson Hocevar alongside on the inside.  Austin Wayne Self has to move to the back of the field after running over the ”choose cone”.

Lap 121, Chandler and Zane Smith make contact in a battle for eighth but the track stays green.  Zane Smith has to make an unscheduled trop down pit road with a flat tire.

Twenty to go, Christian Eckes ahs a third of a second lead on Carson Hocevar; Stewart Friesen, John Hunter Nemechek, and Ryan Preece round out the top five.

Tyle Ankrum gets loose and spins out after some contact with Grant Enfinger and brings out the caution flag.

Carson Hocevar, Matt Crafton, and Ross Chastain are the only drivers with a fresh set of tires in the pits.

None of the drivers come down pit road for service.

Christian Eckes brings the field down for the green flag restart with just 15 laps remaining in the race.  Eckes is in the outside lane with Carson Hocevar on the inside.  Carson Hocevar gets a push and takes the lead initially but the drivers get three and four wide with Christian Eckes taking the lead.

Ross Chastain has an issue with his truck and drops to 16th.

Eight to go, Stewart Friesen challenges Christian Eckes for the lead but so far Eckes holds him off.

Carson Hocevar has gotten around Ryan Preece for third.

John Hunter Nemechek blocks team mate Chandler Smith and nearly sends him into the wall.

Ben Rhodes brings out the seventh caution flag of the race with five laps to go when he makes contact with Tanner Gray and spins out with a flat tire.  Gray and Rhodes are both on pit road for repairs.

The race goes into overtime!

Christian Eckes brings the field down for the two lap overtime shootout from the outside lane with Stewart Friesen on the inside.  Eckes and Friesen go side by side for the lead.
