NASCAR Point Standings – May 2

After winning stage two of the delays Dover race on May 2, Ryan Blaney became the first Cup Series driver to win four stages this season.  William Byron and Martin Truex Jr each have three stage wins this season; Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Tyler Reddick each have two stage wins; and Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, Alex Bowman, Chase Briscoe, Daniel Suarez, and Bubba Wallace each have a single stage win.  Chase Elliott leads the stage points with 107.

In the point standings, Chase Elliott also leads the list with 418 and can now count himself among the race winners.  In eleven races so far this season, there have been nine different winners.  He joins William Byron, Kyle Busch, Alex Bowman, Ross Chastain, Kyle Larson, Chase Briscoe, Denny Hamlin, and Austin Cindric on the winner’s list.  Ross Chastain and William Byron are the only race winners to win more than one race.
