Now that the nation has opened up once again, artists are busy getting back out on the road; but Darius Rucker is taking it to the next step by touring and reviving his Riverfront Revival Music Festival.
The festival is set for October 8 and 9 in his home town of Charleston, South Carolina.
Rucker himself is headlining the event and has enlisted the help of several friends to come along including Brothers Osborne, Trampled By Turtles, Jimmie Allen, Charley Crockett, and SUSTO.
Rucker has planned two stages for the event to provide plenty of music. He spoke on the festival saying, “anyone who knows me knows how much I love Charleston. For years now, I’ve had this bucket list dream of bringing together a bunch of friends to perform in a way that also showcases this incredible city and all it has to offer. I can’t wait to see it become a reality this fall – and I hope the fans are as excited as we are!”
SRE Entertainment’s Rob Lamble added, “Riverfront Revival will be the perfect culmination of feel-good music across genres set against the beautiful backdrop of the Cooper River. We’re thrilled to bring a new fall music tradition to the Holy City, and are honored to be doing so with Darius Rucker and his team.”
Director of the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism Duane Parrish spoke on Darius Rucker and the festival saying, “Darius is a home-grown star with a genuine love for his state, making him an incredible ambassador for South Carolina. We are all looking forward to celebrating South Carolina’s Lowcountry and welcoming thousands of visitors to this one-of-kind music festival in October.”
General admission tickets for the two day event are $124.50 with VIP tickets going for $399.50 plus any service fees. Payment plans are available for $25 down for GA and $50 for VIP.
VIP tickets include access to priority viewing areas, a dedicated entrance, a VIP lounge, premium restrooms, and a dedicated bar area.
