Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rocker David Bowie physically left this world in 2016 at the age of 69; but he will never be forgotten.

And now fans can see Bowie as Ziggy Stardust at Madam Tussauds in London as a part of the Music Festival exhibit.  Bowie joins music great Jimi Hendrix in the Music Festival and joins other music artists Little Mix, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Ed Sheeran.

This is the second time Madame Tussauds has cast Bowie in wax; the first time was 1983.  The Ziggy Stardust figure was based on a photograph by Masayoshi Sukita.

Madame Tussauds London General Manager Tim Waters spoke on the new addition of Bowie saying, “David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust transcends generations and music genres, making him the ultimate headliner to launch our new Music Festival zone.  We were honoured to work with his estate in what would have been his 75th year and play our small part in keeping his inimitable legacy alive for generations to come.”
