On April 3, Denny Hamlin became the seventh different winner in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series.  He joins William Byron, Ross Chastain, Alex Bowman, Chase Briscoe, Austin Cindric,  and Kyle Larson as 2022 race winners.  Despite his win in the Toyota Owner’s 400 at Richmond Raceway, Hamlin has a total of only 148 points and is currently listed in 20th place in the point standings.

Ryan Blaney tops the list of drivers in the point standings with 241 points.  Blaney is tied with Chase Elliott with 241 points at the top of the leaderboard.
